Lok Sabha Election 2024 Date : Along with the Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections of four states have also been announced. Apart from this, by-elections will also be held for 26 assembly seats. Voting for the Lok Sabha elections will begin on April 19 and end on June 1. All the results will come together on June 4.
The Election Commission has announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections 2024 Date. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that Lok Sabha elections dates 2024 will be held in seven phases from April 19. Counting of votes will take place on June 4. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, there will also be by-elections for 26 assembly seats.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced the election dates 2024 in a press conference here. Along with this, the Commission said that assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will be held on 19 April and assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh on 13 May. Apart from this, Odisha Assembly elections will be held in four phases on 13 May, 20 May, 25 May and 1 June.
Voting in all seven phases in Uttar Pradesh
The Chief Election Commissioner, along with two new election commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, told a press conference that voting will be held in all seven phases in Bihar, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.
Lok Sabha Program
- First phase : Voting will be held on 102 seats in 21 states and union territories on April 19.
- Second phase : Voting will be held on 89 seats in 13 states and union territories on April 26.
- Third phase : Voting will be held in 94 constituencies of 12 states and union territories on May 7.
- Fourth phase : Voting will be held in 96 constituencies across 10 states on May 13.
- Fifth phase : Voting will be held on 49 seats in eight states and union territories on May 20.
- Sixth phase : Voting will be held on 57 seats in seven states and union territories on May 25.
- Seventh phase : Voting will be held on 57 seats in eight states and union territories on June 1.

- Varanasi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s seat, the last phase of voting here on June 1.
- Gandhinagar : Home Minister Amit Shah’s seat, voting here on May 7
- Wayanad : Rahul Gandhi’s seat, voting here on April 26
- Amethi : Union Minister Smriti Irani’s seat, voting here on May 20
- Vidisha : Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan is contesting from here, voting will be held on May 7.
- Lucknow : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s seat, voting here on May 20
- Thiruvananthapuram : Sitting Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and Union Minister Rajiv
Chandrashekhar are in the fray from here, voting will be held on April 26. - Guna : Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in the fray from here, voting here on May 7

Visited all the states and took stock of the situation
The Chief Election Commissioner said that complete preparations have been made to conduct the elections in a fair, transparent and peaceful manner. Before announcing the dates, the Commission visited all the states and took stock of the situation and accordingly other preparations have been made along with the voting dates.
He said that this time there are about 97 crore voters, for whom 10.5 lakh polling stations have been made. 1.5 crore election officers have been deployed to conduct the voting smoothly. 55 lakh electronic voting machines i.e. EVMs will be used for voting. The commission has also appointed 2,100 observers to monitor the elections.
